These orphaned children are anxiously awaiting your help. For just $35/month, you can give them the gift of food, healthcare, a free education and a safe, secure place to live. Unlike many programs where children live with their parents and the sponsorship provides only education, uniforms, etc., Open Arms provides orphaned children with loving caretakers, a home, food, medical care, and an education – whatever is required to meet all of their needs. Our goal is to give them the opportunity to have as normal a childhood as possible so that they can break free of the poverty cycle and become productive, self-sufficient members of their communities.

Ashish is a very friendly and happy 7 year old boy living in New Hope Home in north India. Before coming to the home, he had known hunger, cold, and hard life on the street. He's so grateful to be in a home where there is safety, good care, regular food, and a chance to gain education. He's in first grade and loves learning. Sonu was born on May 5, 2002. He's attending kindergarten and wants to become a policeman someday. Isn't that a pretty typical dream for a little boy? He's able to have big dreams and the hope to realize them too because he lives in an excellent children's home, New Hope Home in north India, where the children receive excellent loving care and good education. Sonu has had lots of pain and loss in his short life. He's a total orphan and has had to adjust to all that loss and to living in an orphanage. He's done a superb job of adjusting and learning to laugh and hope again. Now he needs someone to become his sponsor and assure his support.

Surjeet has had a very tough childhood, but that has not dimmed his smile or his dreams. After his father died, Surjeet's mother could not earn enough as a field laborer to support him, so she was forced to abandon him to New Hope Home in north India. He has adjusted beautifully in the home and is loving the opportunity to go to school. He now has his heart set on becoming an engineer. He so need someone to become his sponsor and encourager. Lovely Arti E. has so much happiness in her pretty face that it is hard to believe she's faced so much hardship already in her 8 short years. Her mother died when she was 2 years old. Her father, a poor farmer, tried like everything to care for his small daughter and earn enough to support his family. He just couldn't do it and was forced to abandon her to New Hope Chiildren's Home in north India. She has adjusted in the home and learned to smile and hope and trust once again.
